By accessing or using RiotBid.com (“the Platform,” “we,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform. By submitting a bid, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2. The Service

RiotBid.com operates as a competitive, paid leaderboard. By placing a bid, you are purchasing temporary visibility and placement on a public ranking. Your position is determined solely by the size of your active bid relative to others. We make no guarantees regarding traffic volume, conversion rates, or the duration of your placement.

3. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed by our PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. All bids are final and strictly non-refundable. When you purchase a placement, you acknowledge and accept that you may be outbid at any time by another user. The competitive nature of the board is the core feature of the service, and being outbid does not entitle you to a refund.

4. Daily Decay

All active bids are subject to a 5% daily decay applied at Midnight UTC. This decay is automatic, irreversible, and will eventually reduce any unattended bid to $0.00, resulting in removal from the leaderboard. You acknowledge and accept this mechanic as a fundamental feature of the Platform.

5. Content Guidelines

We reserve the absolute right to remove, without notice, any project, URL, tagline, or listing that is: (a) illegal or promotes illegal activity; (b) malicious, including malware, phishing, or scam websites; (c) highly offensive, hateful, or discriminatory; or (d) in violation of our payment provider's Acceptable Use Policy. If your project is removed for violating these guidelines, your bid amount is forfeited with no refund.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT ENDORSE ANY PROJECT LISTED ON THE LEADERBOARD.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIOTBID.COM AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR MOST RECENT BID.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, rather than in court. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against RiotBid.com.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
